Who We Are – History
Founded in 1982, The Onyx Group began as a planning and landscape architectural firm providing land planning, master planning, landscape architectural services, and facilities planning and programming for governmental agencies.
In anticipation of new client requirements in the early 90’s, The Onyx Group began developing a more comprehensive approach to planning, design, and management needs and established a systems development group focused on facilities information and data management. Today, supported by The Onyx Group's systems development team, our architects and planners integrate technology with professional skill and experience into problem solving. The Onyx Group implements custom facility information applications and is committed to Building Information Modeling (BIM). The Onyx Group’s multi-disciplinary team approach, including over 20 interrelated disciplines, is dedicated to the innovation of solutions specific to our client needs.
