We are seeking a “difference maker” ─ someone who epitomizes creativity, character, and charisma ─ to join our team as a Planner in our Old Town Alexandria office.
We consistently meet deadlines, solve customers’ problems, and exceed expectations by offering exceptional services and products. As a Planner, you will work toward these ends by assisting with projects from inception through completion. These projects will include land-use, site development, encroachment action, and master plans; feasibility studies; and space utilization analysis. You will be responsible for researching topics related to the subject matter, delivering superior technical writing, and editing the projects. You will also be responsible for all aspects of production coordination and ensuring that the final product surpasses clients’ expectations.
You must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Urban Planning or Landscape Architecture and 2+ years of planning experience in a professional firm; exceptional writing and editing skills; proficient with ESRI ArcGIS 9.3 and familiar with CADD software programs; have the ability to travel when necessary; and be a U.S. Citizen. Military planning experience is a plus.
